為何詩歌有加略山，但聖經裏卻找不到加略山？

耶穌釘十字架的所在地方稱為各各他，按四福音的記載如下：

太27:33 「到了一個地方、名叫各各他、意思就是髑髏地．」

And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull. [kjv]

And when they came to a place called Golgotha [Calvary, in Latin], which means the place of a skull. [Amp]

可15:22「他們帶耶穌到了各各他地方、（各各他翻出來、就是髑髏地）」

And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is , being interpreted, the place of a skull. [kjv]

And they led him to Golgotha [in Latin, Calvary],meaning the place of a skull. [Amp]

路23:33
「到了一個地方、名叫髑髏地、就在那裡把耶穌釘在十字架上、……」

And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him,…… [kjv]

And when they came to the place which is called The Skull [Calvary, from the Latin; Golgotha, the Hebrew equivalent],there they crucified him.……[Amp]

約19:17
……到了一個地方、名叫髑髏地、希伯來話叫各各他。

And……went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha. [kjv]

髑髏地 – 是從原文的 “κρανιου”意譯出來。“CALVARY”是將原文音譯為拉丁文，再音譯為英文Skull。

加略山：在中文聖經找不到，但在最權威英文聖經，英王欽定譯本 (kjv)中，可以見到在路加福音23:33的翻譯中加上“Calvary” ，音譯為 “加略山”。

再從另一本英文聖經譯本，擴大譯本(amplified version)中，可以見到馬太27:33、馬可15:22、及路23:33的翻譯裏有 “Calvary”，並註明是從拉丁文來的。

註1：新約聖經被訂為正典時，教會身處於的羅馬帝國的用拉丁語文文化中，聖經的拉丁語文“武加大” 翻譯本便被教會使用約一千年之久。

註2：加略山(Calvary)與加略人(Iscariot)猶大，兩者完全沒有關係。另外舊約【耶利米書48:41】提及的加略(Kerioth)，它是摩押的地邑。
